Working for me mate.

It could be for a lot of other reasons too.
Tim Harry wrote:Competition is everywhere. Why, in a few weeks a service station will be opening JUST across the road from another. Both are expected to be dropping prices to compete, but do you think if one starts to get less revenue, they'll threaten to close up shop? No, and if they did, nobody would care, they'd continue to go to the other servo.
AK, not having a go but are these service stations going to be owned by the same company? Caltex vs BP is competition, Caltex vs Caltex is just a poor business decision.
Bob, you are very right, it is unfortunate to see Brahma indoor close and it would have been great to have venues in the area that suited everyones needs but unfortunately that just couldn't be made to work. It was a shame that Tony & Joe didn't want to give the day change a go but in the end they did what they thought was right for their business....as did we.
Now Bacon, what would you like to see changed regarding the stamping policy. Currently it is $3 per stamp. I understand that there was some nitpicking on stamps in the past when the price was $5.90 etc but that seems to have been addressed. What else would you like to see that would make it better?
Any thoughts or feeling gladly accepted.
Cheers guys,
Tim.

So PG now have a monopoly on the area.. could make interesting reading on the numbers.
I don't begrudge PG wanting to maintain their position as one of the best venues. I don't know what else they can provide.
Bob, it's all your fault, by the way... they missed serving your 1/2 brandies, and went investigating where you went.
