Settlers Hotel, located on Montague Rd @ Ingle Farm is another of the many north-east venues and entertains it's poker playing guests on a Thursday evening.

Numbers are regularly over 60 which ensures a decent haul of points should you be so fortunate to place. The poker area and adjacent bar are surprisingly large which is always nice and for the diners they have a good poker special (see pics).

The crowd is ...err...colourful, with one chap seeming exceptionally happy to be there I also hear he wants us all to 'relax'
