my poor start to the season is gonna cost me again. i am sitting 13th at the moment, with 2 games left to play. i have a glimmer of hope because there are heaps of ppl in the top 5 at different venues, so fingers crossed, but i am gonna need final tables for the next 2 weeks. i need to make up 33.1 points on 5th place in 2 weeks. i have a feeling i am gonna finish 6 or 7th again like i have since the first season.

...yeah... I didn't mean to slow play my K high flush and knock you out last week mate, essentially killing your finals chances.

Wait, yes I did :D

yeah good play mate, kudos.

i didn't really have any other option though, only had 2100 at that stage, and my 9 high flush wasn't looking too bad.

when u raised my 600 bet, i knew i was beat, but i wasn't hanging around with 1500 chips with the break fast approaching, so i took a chance and busted out.

anyway, hopefully i can win tomorrow night to get myself back up off the canvass

1500 isn't that far away from 2100 ;)

If you knew you were beat... instead of throwing in then, perhaps wait until another hand and throw it in pre flop when you actually have a chance.

Heck... if everyone folds and you steal the blinds, losing that 600 doesn't look so bad.
