I'm Des and I like quiet walks along the beach at sunset.

I play in the NW region. Usually at The Bartley (Mon), The Palai$ (Tues) and The Crows Tavern (Wed). Probably going to cut back to 2 nights a week now (Tues n Wed).

Haven't really tangled too much with the people on this site yet. But I'm sure it will happen soon.

Hi guys & girls
My names Harry (aka the Mad Cow). I play the north west region & have had the pleasure of knocking out Sean, Des and plenty of others around the place at various stages. I usualy play the Lakes, Crows & Palais. As for the nickname, anyone that has played against me or around me would know why I use it (Its one of my 6 personality's, yes we are schitsophrenic). Ive been playing for around a year or so and before NPL only played the odd home game. Got hooked on NPL while in Melb last year on the way to the Motorcycle GP in some back dock Hic pub on the Great Ocean Road where I took out a bit over 100 players in my first ever tournament. I'll post a picture soon & I'll make it prettier than yours Des.

I'm Matt. TD in the SW region (Watermark, Dublin, Holdy, Grand). I'm stoked you guys got this forum going, now every time someone tries to tell me a bad beat story (20 times a night) I've told them to come here and I'll read all about it tomorrow (not). Anyway, I'm loving being a part of the NPL juggernaut, it's great to see so many people enjoying poker as much as I have been over the last couple of years. I've met loads of great people through the NPL and it's great to be a part of it's success. I'm sure this forum will be another contributing factor to the success of NPL poker in SA. I just hope I can pull a few votes in the fave TD race. Come on guys, if you vote for me I promise I'll draw your name out next week!!!

G'day guys I'm Nick Readman,

I'am the Operator for the South West and loving it. I started playing poker about 2 years ago when i work at the casino as a poker dealer. I've been with NPL since the first tournment at the Tonsley on June the 14th i think it was and i've been able to see it grow in to a monster of a communtiy that it is now, excellent. A big thanks to all my staff in my region doing a amazing job and to all my regualr players. It seems only NE players are posting on here, so a big call to all my south west players get on the site and start posting. One last thing i a big congrats to one of regualr South West players Roger Hjorleifson he place on both final tables over the weekend. 2nd at the Aussie Millions and 3rd at the state final a huge effort. I had the pleasure of dealing him the losing hand's on both final tables sorry mate. lol
