Geppscross???? No way, Regency Rd is about as far north as I'll go, and that is on a "brave" day!

After hearing about this tourney AGAIN tonight (I played when I should have been studying, and the cards punished me for that!), I am so, so SO hoping my exams let me get there. Grrr to NPL for running this in the middle of uni exams !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm out guys, gotta play footy on Saturday so can't take part.
Shame, it wouldve been good to revisit the site of last years footy trip shenanigans. ;)

maccatak11 wrote:I have a solution to all of these accomodation problems. I live in waikerie which is only half an hour away from berri, and i will let poeple camp in my back yard for only $70 a night. ;)

In short, as has been mentioned before, people from country areas have to find somewhere to stay for all state finals and promotions, so get over it, its once a year that city people have to travel, but sometimes it seems that people are a little reluctant to head past geppscross once in a while.

What are your bar prices like then, Matty? Is it worth the trip up for a Saturday night home game? :D

Let's get back on track now gentleman, if we wish to discuss ALK's gf in more detail we will need to open another thread.
And that is not too happen.

$70 to camp in a backyard? I'll camp there, and you can pay me $70 for the privilege :)

$145 per night is expensive on it's own - I don't think anyone is saying it's not good value for what's on offer, but it's still $145. It's like buying something just because it's on special :P

I'm sure there's enough ways to organise accomodation up there, looking forward to it!
Pardon me, but I think you'll find that's a shovel. See you next Tuesday!

be open minded about paying $145 for accomodation,

remember the venue is putting up the prize money and i presume paying npl,

give them a chance to get something back in return, its almost like a buy in...
