Unlucky for some?

With the exception of a drunken 8th at the Woolshed last night, I seem to be stuck at landing 13th position just about wherever I play at. Had a run of 13's and I'm getting a little annoyed with it Can someone please teach me how to play!!

Man I'm the same.

Either I get river carded out of a tournment, or I finished 6th-8th. Getting annoying because I'm playing good poker, and getting in with the best hand, but people just keep sucking out.

Oh well, not playing again till Monday so that might refresh me a bit.

I think the NPL are using different cards on my table. I just can't see to buy two face cards ever. Last night I had 10J and it was the best hand I had all night!

When you raise to $1000 with AK suited and someone, who hasn't played before, calls with 7 5 off suit and then it's checked out, with them flopping two pair ... well .... not much you can do!

Well, you know, it's not entirely bad if you're not getting the pictures. At least you've got nothing to really bet at other than a bluff. Our good mate Pete ran into a bit of a wall last night with decent hole cards that he paid out a cpl hundred each time in a raise or a call and never hit a thing. Good thing that he didn't try and bet on them because everytime someone had hit something.

A little bit of a break can be a wonderful thing. Get you wanting to play a bit more.

Not only that, I didn't win a single hand at the modbury last night AND the junk I folded would flop either 2 pair or a house! go figure!

Don't think that's ever happened to me before!

Good thing I kept drinking and went to the woolshed and snagged a 4th. Big thank you to Joel for giving me so many chips so early

If that shark whose name is Anna didn't win then I'll be very surprised.


Highlight of the evening was having to listen to Annas drunk friend talk...a LOT...and then suddenly it went quiet...wondered why and as we were leaving we saw her with her head in a bucket LOL

Anna Kocanovski! That was her name and she *IS* a shark! Came 2nd at the Woolshed but have to watch out for her for sure.

And she's played 5 games in total from season one and two. 4 placings and 3 final tables. a 2nd, 3rd, 5th and 15th.
