Know anyone Bob?

She's a classic M8 really good lines and for those who don't know they were different as the bonnet opened backwards and locked down on the sides.

I'm in the Chrysler Restorers of SA and we share our club rooms with Combined Car Clubs of SA and I sure there is a group there that may be able to help you out.

I'll ask around at the next meeting or Email a couple of guys in the club who may knw. Nice Ride Darren.

[quote="matty norwood"]I have my r33 skyline gtst as my daily driver bus.

Bit of grunt there Matty. Have you tried going to Mallalla for drift???

I might post my sons new purchase on here later.

He bought a Sylvia that has all the right stuff and has picked up a couple of sponsors to help him out.

Extreme Paint and Panel did a new colour scheme and a completely new muffler system by .....bugga, their name escapes me at the moment.

Looking for a tyre, fuel and parts sponsor if anyone is interested????

Thanks Bruce I like your Brick too M8, they were awsome in their day. I can remember when Peter Manton raced one and I used to have a picture of it coming out of the S's and into the main straight at Mallalla and only the LH front wheel was on the road.

That was also the same era as McEwin in his Lotus Cortina. These two guys were blowing off the likes Of Norm Beachy's Chevvy Nova, Moffatt and Janes Mustangs etc.

Here's my son Stevens Drift Car. Pics aren't that good but you get the idea. He's just converted it from a 4 stud hub pattern to competition 5 stud hubs.

He was originally drifting his road car a 98 200sx. It also has a fully adjustable suspension similar to the drift car and a locked diff which he will be putting in the drift car and sell of the other bits to bring the 200 back to standard.

Lots of tricky bits that I don't understand with these RICE cars LOL. Anyone who is in the know or interested in this type of racing and wants to pit crew let me know.

He's 27 so a similar age would be good as I'm getting too old for this stuff.

And Josh ........ Steven would be more than happy to let you join him. It's just a little hard at the moment with wedding prep etc.

DON'T FORGET SPONSORS ARE MORE THAN WELCOME. PICK A SPOT ON THE CAR MAKE AN OFFER IT'S ALL FOR A GOOD CAUSE :D

Yeah I always thought he's follow me via Speedway but after drifting his road car I suggested he spend some cash on one that he doesn't have to drive home

He got a great deal with the Sylvia via Ebay including a tandem trailer and extra rims and bits which he's already sold.

Hey Bob, can you post those pics of your sprintcar please, I'm sure if I see the car I'll remember who you are from the speedway days, can't quite recall at the moment.
I've inherited a 1969 XW Fairmont GS in Reef Green. It's been in the family a while, the original 302 Windsor has been replaced with a Cleveland, but other than that it's completely original, including 4spd manual. Hopefully in a couple of years I'll have a bit of cash saved up and can give it a decent resto.
That's a nice Chrysler you've got, clean and original. your son's silvia looks familiar, who raced it previously?
