I have a 1962 Valiant of which I'm still in the process of restoring. I drive it as a daily user (second car) and have spent a few bucks on the "Old girl" recently.
It has a slant 6 Valiant motor hooked up to a Press button 3 speed auto which I converted from the originally manual column shift. I just recently had her fully repainted which is the current Holden red in two pack by Pheonix Panel and paint shop.
Some of the hard to get bits were the over riders front and back, original push button radio, front and rear window demisters, grille centre, rear venetian and wheel spats (to be fitted). New front and rear windows and rubbers/seals all round.
Runs like a clock top speed is around 98 MPH/160kph still have more to do if I want it concourse but I'm happy the she is at the moment and so is my bank roll.
