No WAY was there a tanty. It was more about complete disbelief... from EVERYONE. I'd already decided (to Scotts eventual detriment) that after straddling the skittles that if anyone raised and challenged my skittles on the table and I had *ANY* sort of a hand I was going to go all in. I was quite willing -- for shirts and G's -- to get some more skittles a few times.

I'd also add that the disbelief came more from the way the flop was shown more than anything else. 1 card face up first and it was the 8. The cheer around the table was awesome.... mind you I was secretly going 'noooooooooooooooooo'.

K on the second card of the flop to be revealed prompted another cheer, and a swig, even though I 'knew' I was drawing dead.

K on the thrid card of the flop made for another massive cheer and made me jump up and down... until Dave told me that scott had a boat. Yeah... all I saw was my set of K's beating his set of 8's ;) That third K made me forget about drawing 'dead' as well ;)

A on the turn was just hilarious! My jaw hit the floor and I did feel a little bad. Then realized I'd taken the skittles and knew I'd be able to feed me and my small family for weeks to come! The only way he was going to not suffer being raped was to be folding pre flop. the 8 K K flop was doing nothing for me and everything for him. I know I would have been calling his all in and raising any raise.

The only thing that could have made it even funnier was the 8 on the river but it never came. Perhaps THE most funny part of it all was that after scott had left... someone owned up to stacking the deck and that the 8 WAS supposed to land on the river but we were all too scared to let him know or to go and get him. I'm not supposed to be saying this but it's only fair and the skittles are comming back his way.

I know. I know. Cruel as but I was the reciptant of goodness and my family was going to get fed so I wasn't all that ashamed. Of course, now that the rage might have just set in I can say that I'm joking and there was no loading whatsoever. I just wanted to rile 'someone' up a little bit and make him go WTF... with anger.

After that I thought I was pretty much bulletproof and called everything from Q10 to pocket 3's regardless of how many skittles people were throwing into the pot. Mind you. Skittles were being straddled left right and centre and I was getting pretty aroused ;)

It just annoys me to see xtal's name on the front screen so often, so I thought I'd put my name up in lights. just for a short while I'm sure!

Mind you, her comment was rather appropriate to the original topic. Harsh story.
