I don't know if it's Adelaide being super good or if it's just the planets seeming to align every time they play with the opposition sustaining injuries/having a dip in form lol No offence to the largely Adelaide fan base on this forum, but I am still not convinced Adelaide can challenge for the premiership. Already Swan and Reid out for Collywobbles next week. Planets aligning I tells ya!

you can only play the opposition that gets put on the park. Do we devalue our WCE win coz of their injuries?

I think we have to. Hirdy acknowledged this in the post match interview. A win is a win, but clearly not as satisfying or as reflective of our real strength/weakness had we played a full strength WCE.
It would be great if Adelaide prove me wrong (except in games against the Bombers of course
How about that Jenkins' goal? Spewing we gave him up!

Re: AFL 2012
still though, beating sydney in sydney, last years premiers, and carlton in away is no mean feat, especially given they were basically 3 of the top 5 flag favourites
you can only beat the guys you play against, and 10 goal wins in the last 2 weeks have been pretty emphatic
crows essendon final trishy?

I'll give you the goodes injury, cos Sydney might have won if he stayed on the park, but Scarlett/bartel and Murphy/Waite do not make geelong and Carlton ten goal better sides. (plus don't forget that we had the bloke leading the Coleman medal out if our team too.)
Riskers gamble, experts calculate.

As much as I hate it, Adelaide are a force to contend with this year. You don't go undefeated through the NAB Cup (including defeating West Coast), then beat Sydney and Carlton away. Still deciding about the Geelong win. Top four is only looking better and better, especially seeing as they have 3 wins vs GWS/GCS to go.
Now please fall away and go back to being shit, it angers me

i was at the geelong game, and i have never seen geelong so fumbly with the ball, and that was corey and enright too not their kids. it was insane the pressure we were putting on them.
