I was looking through the different phases for the Main Event and the Aussie millions, and they all look excellent, although there is 1 problem - they all seem to be very early in the day
the Aussie millions qualifier and the AM phase 2 start at 430pm ACST on a weekday, which i am sure is too early for most people, even on the east coast.
similary, the AM phase 3 starts at 17.30, and the phase 2 pain event starts at 1830.
i would have thought a 19.30 start in SA (which makes a 2000 start in vic) would be a better time and would see many more runners in these games.
i smaller issue is that the $100+ games still have a 3k start stack and either 10 or 12 minute levels, i would love to see these at 5k start stack and 15 minute levels, or at the very least 5k start and 12 minute levels like the AM qualifier.
thoughts?

Re: start time for phase games
+1 to benny the cunt's post. The fact that we only got 11 players to the last ME phase 3 says alot when we get 15+ to the $120 buyin ME sat at States in SA alone. There should be alot more runners in the online sats when you consider they are Australia wide. Maybe scheduling issues as well as it clashed with other States' State Finals weekends....
What?, poker without the river??, you've just made my dreams come true!!!

Hi Guys,
Any other issues that need addressing, I will get these fixed today, now way should any Phase 3's be held mid week, especially on a Wednesday.

Re: start time for phase games
i dont mind them midweek, it just needs to be at a time where people can play them, although i am happy if they get moved to a weekend. personally they suit me midweek but i certainly understand that a weekend is better for most.
the structure should be as deep as possible for these games too, give that $100+ is a lot of money for most 888pl players.

Re: start time for phase games
Wednesday, Thursday and Monday are the busiest days of the week for in venue activity.
Having any online events on these days seem slightly redundant.

Agree - maybe you could have a $25 phase for both main event and AM on a Tuesday and a Saturday and then run the larger ones later on Saturday or on sunday

To clarify, the last phase 3 was on Saturday, but I think it clashed with State finals. Saturday works, just not when major live events are also running.
