G'day,
Has anyone else already started to pick their team?
I have picked what players I wanted & will adjust when I know who is playing.
Damn players are expensive this year

You only have to pick 3 less players this year though - only two people on the bench in mids, fwds and backs instead of 3 - so I think in relative terms it will work out similar.

Some of they players have gone from multi position players to set positions,
i,e. Bryce Gibbs & Drew "wetbush" Petrie.

How are people going to combat the byes' this season? Just wait till the bye then trade?

Probably. There are only three weeks of byes to contend with, so it will probably be dependent on who I'm playing and how my team is going at the time. By spreading my picks among lots of teams I should be able to cover it. It will most likely be a wait and see though.

Last season when there was a bye they were non competitive rounds, Hope it's the same this time. & with six teams having the bye @ same time, it is going to make it real tuff to score around 2000.

No, there are competitive rounds during the bye this season, but you get 3 trades to use that round instead of 2. There are also 24 trades total this season, up from 20.

You can make 3 trades in bye weeks as well, and 2 in all other weeks
