****SPOILERS OBV*****

Ok, so the episode. Amazing. I loved Gus's scream before Hector blows them up, finally gave him eye contact, with that *stare* and Gus just knew. Consummate professional to the end as well, straightens his tie just before he dies. Very Gus like.

Some very funny moments too, when Walt was talking to Saul's secretary and he stares her down, I'm thinking there's no way he's gonna give her 25k... "I'll be right back." Had me cracking up. Hector's "NEED DEA" was gold too.

Be interesting to show how Walt orchestrated the whole thing next season. As is mentioned in that link above, in the previous episode when Walt is spinning his revolver in his backyard, on the third spin it lands on the lily plant. That kid too, he's obviously gonna know who gave it to him so be might go.

Sad to see Gus go, but it had to happen for the show. Mike will be huge next season I think, although I think the real storyline will obviously be Walt vs Jessie. Perfect ending to the show IMO, Jessie kills Walt and gets away with it. We can all say Walt needs to go.

Can't wait for next season! :D

And if the goal is to ultimately have Walt become Scarface, you can't have Scarface's boss around anymore.

Answer : Exactly. At a certain point, you have to kill off Robert Loggia so Al Pacino can rise to prominence.

***SPOILERS***

OK.

I think I started to suspect Walt was behind the poisoning last episode and then I was sure when Jesse tells him it was not Rice and some other poison on the roof, coupled with his "I won" comment. So where did the poison ciggie go? Will it reappear next season. I didn't even pay much attention to that gun spinning scene.

So I don't know what the story line will be next season. Yes there will be Walt v Jessie but how will we get to the confrontation. Probably Hank's investigations will ramp up and he may even confront Walt. Do Walt and Jessie start making meth together again? I doubt it. Why would Mike go after them if his boss is dead? I think Skyler realises Walt has turned into a monster after the whole "I won" comment.

Interesting stuff.

interesting where it goes from here, to be honest, they really could have ended the show right there (with maybe a different ending for walt obv) and it would have been the perfect way to go out.
