state finals are COMBINED with both 888pl and APL players.

check out glynn's announcement here viewtopic.php?f=6&t=6674

if there are any discrepancies, it will only be the current events and not future ones. obviously there is some transition period

I would like to know how this is fair, are 888PL players going to have a fair and equal chance or should we all convert to APL.

Its very hard to kick goals without goal posts.

How are the goals changed?

We have been in market with our prizes for state finals for over three months now. APL have had the same, unfortunately APL's last major was held in June and we decided that we did not want to run the next one, scheduled in November.

Therefore APL's finals prizes were aimed at The Main Event.

I don't see the issue here.

I thought it was 10 APL/888PL games.

Don't have to delete your post. I am certain that there are 10-20 people that are thinking the same thing. If you ask the question they can see the answer.

If you delete we will have another 5 people asking the question. Its just an FYI.

So just the news feed regarding the Main Event?

By my basic maths skills it looks like the rake is 20%?

For a 1k buy event this seems very high even for a Crown run event?

Is that correct and if so why so much?

I would imagine some of the rake goes towards creating the events around the event such as the "welcome party".
