why would you ever complain about people being really bad? it just means you have to tighten up your range to include only value hands, and it means you might have to make a few tighter folds than normal but if you dont enjoy a game full of what you term bad players, then thats your problem :D

If the game changes from poker to bingo 100% of the time then it's fair enough to say if you feel like it's no longer enjoyable.

If we take the horrible play out of the equation (because it's just as bad in regular 888 tourneys), there's no point as far as I can see in playing the 888PL games unless it's actually FOR something.

Glyn made a good point in another post about satellites and step tourneys etc. Those are a good idea and will no doubt generate a lot of interest.
Pardon me, but I think you'll find that's a shovel. See you next Tuesday!

yep definitely this as well. but i would love a $5 nightly qualifier into a $50 weekly tourney into a $250 monthly qualifier that can be used for main event, aussie millions, etc etc

This would be good !
When choosing between the 2 evils , I like to choose the 1 i haven't tried yet !

Chips are like burley , ya need to spread a little around to attract the fishies ...

I dont play the freerolls, but i can see how it would be annoying if people aren't taking it seriously at all. but in general i dont see a huge difference between 888pl games and general 888 tourneys, in the $10 games at least.

it is good that glynn is taking an interest in this, as i mentioned earlier, i would love to see it as a steps only event, i reckon that would be awesome, and if you drop any sort of dream team points, i also think it is the tourney type that has the least impact on normal 888pl operations, and is what 888pl live games are most poorly suited for too.

My Partner (EEHAR) and I (Omnnnumnumnum) Regularly Play The 888pl Online Buy-in Events.Standard of Play FISHY :-)))).Have noticed the Drop in Numbers. My Belief is Here we Gooooooooooo Weeeeeeeeeeee. Most Players Outside Queensland Have Given up on Trying To play For the Dreamteam. So don,t Bother with the 888pl Restricted games No More. The Players who play the Tuesday and Thursday Games Deep-stacks 10x Multipliers Attached to them.Apart from the Regulars Most of the Players are from Queensland Chasing Points.A STEPS System/Ticket System would be cool Idea for future Events.Like Fulltilt LOL. Havent posted on here for a while so only just noticed this thread but glad i have noticed it, i would be one of those in the boat of not playing much 888pl online games now, in the past i would usually play 1 or 2 of the micro - low stakes tourneys every night to attempt qualification for a semi final etc with the occasional higer stakes game, with that gone and the fact that i have limited (1 night per week) to play away games i really dont see the point in the restricted game schedule aside from the online champs. For me the ROI is better spent trying to win a hoodie lol, but seriously i think a dedicated steps to aussie millions, hachem d/s series etc would serve better so we can try putting our brand (888pl) out there as quality players playing local tourneys, i think is about exposure not exclusion

thats my rant back to my cave
