Had to laugh at this....

Just wanted to share this cause it made me laugh, i was just playing a $1.10 6 hand sng on non 888 client $1500 start stack $10/20 i'm bb all fold button limps sb folds i'm holding 2 4 off flop all picture cards both check, turn was middle card both check, river was a 10 i think button checks i just fold cause i know i'm beat, its my choice no big deal i lose, i then get told by another player that if i do that again he wil repoert me, i ask why and he says "chip dumping"......... made me laugh and the guy i apparently dumped to laugh as well

even though you know you didnt do anything dodgy, it still looks dodgy to an observer.

just roll your cards next time. you never know, the other guy might be playing the board too and you could chop.

i agree it doesn't look the greatest and i would never do it at a higher blind level where it really mattered and to be honest its the first time i've ever done it but i think chip dumping is a bit rich, and he showed pocket queens so i was screwed anyway

The value of not revealing your hand may outweigh the 1/2 bb or whatever it was tho.

Because its such an advantage for your opponents to know that you check down 4 high on an overcard board? now thats a joke.
