For a moment there I thought the Canadian GP would end up being another Adelaide 91 where that race was washed out.

Button was flying in the closing moments of the race. Aided by a wet weather and high downforce setup. He was at least 2 seconds a lap faster than anyone else.

didnt watch the race - stayed up that late, but was drunk at an engagement party, so i fell asleep in front of the tv :P

anyone know why F1 are trying to change the engine's from the current engine?

Probably in an effort to reduce HP for safety reasons.

if they are, I would have thought the reason more likely to be they think it will lead to more overtaking

no crows, no dreamteam, no wimbledon, thank god there is formula one this weekend!

should be a very interesting race given that teams are not allowed to use the blown diffuser from now on, which people think is going to bring red bull back to the pack a bit.

also good that webber has signed for another year with red bull, and riccardo is getting a drive for HRT

They are also trying to make the engine development and research more applicable to road cars, which also includes trying to go greener with the engines.

i only read the sports quick fix thing, and they said that he was signing, but now i look at the actual link, and they say he is "close" so signing for at least another year. so it could just be speculation
