Registration
im in a pickle here, it is illegal to register at a venue and intententally not play at that venue just for the sake of the 10 points or even registering at one venue and the heading off to another venue which is in that region and playing there, just for the sake of making regional final, cos from what you see sometimes at NPL that is possible

Yes,
Anyone caught practicing this will be suspended from play.

Re: Registration
thats an interesting one marino
hard to police as well, because someone might just say that they got knocked out early from the first one
but i suppose other players know who is there and who isnt, and they should let TDs know

Re: Registration
It would only matter for qualification into the regional finals/state leaderboard, where number of games counted.
But the likelihood of a 14 gamers making State Leaderboard would be minimal...
And it would only be possible for games that have staggered start times. Most metro venues all kick off at the same time.
But yeah, you could register at Venue A at 6.30, then drive to Venue B and play there. But what would be the point of it? Only to raise your games played... which, in the scheme of things, most people won't have a problem with.
I wonder if the computer system has a registration time attached to it, along with your name? That could be a tracer.

Re: Registration
harsh Benji, but yer some1 could just have a really crap game at the start and leave for another venue, get there before the blinds go up and then start playing in that venue and it would work even better if one venue starts half an hour later as well, thats why its a pickle

Re: Registration
bacon, in teh B&G we have venues that start at 730 and 8pm
so you could sign up at 630 at the first, and easily make to the other by start time. this could still be dont if the venues start at the same time
