Waikerie Club has been pro-active in its support of 888pl poker, It will now hold a special event on the 4th Sunday of every month with a minimum of $500 for each event.

Watch out for something similar from another Riverland club maybe the 2nd sunday if it all comes together.

Not until I receive a rego form it won't, but yeah its great to see a venue being proactive in trying to entice players to a venue!

Nope, had it right the first time. Once it is confirmed then sure they get our full support, but the past Sunday event wasn't on our books until the Friday.

No probs I suppose the paperwork will get there eventually, Club manager approached me as to my thoughts and also had a similar conservation with Todd, I beleive Matty N may also know as well.

We are slow in the "countreeee". We are just starting to learn about how to use a fax machine.

Although we have realised that you dont need a pager anymore if you have a mobile phone.

We still aren't sure if "that internets thing" is our friend or wants to steal all our info and money.

Our internet speed is also now catching up (albeit to Ethiopia) to speeds as high as 200kpbs - although mine peaks out around 80kpbs.

So stick with us, the cheque is in the mail.
