Well done to Todd. I haven't played against him in a while. Will probably bump heads tomorrow at TTG Hotel.(hopefully on the final table )

How many players showed up?

It was a top night. I reckon they said it was over 90 people, so not a bad number.
Was just really fun and social, but yet still a poker game with a bit more on the line than normal.
As I said, I really enjoyed it... That sort of game should happen more often! Was laughs a plenty.
Oh, and well done to Garth, Matty and Darren (and the other Td's that rocked up during the night) for the way they ran the show. Matty and Darren particularly were looking suave in their freshly "opened from their packet" red shirts.

I'm off now with my Canadian Club Saddle bag to find myself a horse!

It was awesome fun. Congrats to Todd for winning - played the bare minimum 15 games in Barossa, 14 DNP. Nobody doubted Todd though, he has the talent to take out an event like this.

I finished 29th (from 75, according to Darren). I'm happy with how I played - I had awful cards all night. Did not see two picture cards until my all in hand, KK (vs JJ). Flop: J 5 5. It happens.

Forum wise, I think Bruce lasted the best of us, top 20. Shaun was out early (like 5 minutes after the first break) while benny the cunt was out 5 minutes before the 2nd break, 33rd I think. My tip to win, Russel Minnet, was out in the mid 30s, maybe 40s. That was disappointing.

And apart from Chris Elliot (10th, awful beat to be knocked out by the way) I lasted the longest from my friends, so I'm happy.

Thanks to Darren, Matt and Garth for running an event so well. No dramas, no issues... it was great.

I think I speak for everyone when I say that we can't wait for the next regional final.
