To win the hand. I think check raising there was way to dangerous.
The only time you were in front was with the 4 on the turn.
Is it not better to win a small pot than lose a big one, In this case your tournament life ?

I didn't say anything about folding, but the check/Raise. Is where I think you lost it

Just the way I look @ it Caleb.
It was bad luck, But should of pushed on the turn card.

Dude, you realise I flopped 2 pair right?

You think I was behind on the flop?

Ok you flopped 2 pair but your equity according to poker stove was still only 48.18% compared to 51.81%.
So math wise you were still behind, until the turn card. Where you were 95.45% to win compared to 4.54%

I fail to see your point.

By your own admission, I check-raised when I was a 95.45% favourite to win.

How is that "way too dangerous"?

LOL.

You three bet OOP into me (who has a six to one chip lead over nearest competitor). I'm on the button. I hit trips on the flop, BTW I have 78s and I will take that against your 3bet range any day of the week when I am in position.

The board pairs and is flushing and you still snap off my FOUR bet all in on the flop.

I have to say Andrew, I fail to see what you are complaining about.

Yes, Garth got lucky and out-flopped you. But he is not opening in that spot with that stack to fold to a standard 3-bet. No way. It would be a terrible play to fold pre there after the open.

The hand played itself after that, but I know I wouldn't be min-raising on the flop after a guy calls my 3-bet pre then leads the flop. Apart from that it's pretty standard.
