Kaspersky Security Suite

Postby David » Tue Jan 25, 2011 12:26 pm

Hi all

There's usually only two items of software I buy; the operating system, and my antivirus. I've used many over the years, some good and some not so good. For the last few years I've been using Kaspersky and it's brilliant.

Anyway, I have an offer. I can get Kaspersky cheaply through my supplier. If anyone would like it, I can supply you a registration key for $30. Usually it comes with a CD but you don't need it if you do what I suggest below.

There is a smart way to get it for 13 months, rather than 12.

Simply download the trial version from the Kaspersky website and install it. This is the FULL WORKING program, but only lasts 30 days. During that 30 days, you purchase a yearly licence for $30, and on the last day, use the key. That means your 12 months starts from then, giving you 13 months for the price of 12.

$30 is a small price to pay for a brilliant security suite that provides protection from everything you need. You can read about it here: http://antivirus.microbe.com.au/132/6/k ... urity-2011

Cheers,

David

Personally, I am sticking with the one above.

The price for Pure is for 2 years, and 3 machines which is about $140 (RRP $224.95)
I don't know if I can find a price for PURE for one year. But, I'll check.

Matt, license is for one machine though I haven't tried it on another one. I tend to buy one per machine anyway (not much for a year)
