G'day ok ,
We get into Adelaide about 6ish after doing the Coonawarra winery run.

Too late to go to poker so Sin took us to dinner at a Chinese Restaurant.

Who do you think was working there? MattieG - that's right.

Was a great meal.

Mattie mentioned that he was going to poker at the Cavan Hotel for the late game. We decided we would go and meet him there.

Well we get there and the first person we run into is Bob B. Then we go into the poker room and there is Dakota, MattieG and Steve.

Must go out for a smoke before we play, and there is Sam. And then along comes Pete "papabear".

It was great to catch up with them all again. We had a great time. Both Giz & Harps made final table with Giz taking out the night and MattieG second.

PS. While Giz was doing all the hard work - Harps and Sin were in the bar with Pete - toot toot."scorpion"

Well we are home at Sin's place now - timefor a drink.

Nice to see you guys in flesh if you know what I mean Harps LOL. There are some beautiful people in this world of ours ............ and I think I'll leave it at that LOL.

No, seriously it was good to catch up and put some faces to the online names and enjoying some quality poker.

I din't realise you could get so many tight players at one table let alone one venue. Friggin 2am finish was a long night LOL. Nice FT win Giz GL at Para Hills tonite.

Well Wednesday went well with a bit of a sleep in, some stocking up of drinks and washing all the locusts off the delorian.

Sin and us then headed off to Para Hills where we met up with Dave, Peter, Peter, Sam, Mike, Scott, K, mini K, PK and others. Had a meal - steak with peper sauce was great. chipped up our drink cards and sat down to play a game of poker with Dakota running it again.

Both Harps and I were in after second break and lasted to the last 3 tables.

Damn Peter and his toot toot again.

One of these days I am not going to drive and then I'll toot toot alright. Maybe next week when we stay in Adelaide city - we can catch a taxi to where we want to go and I can have a drink or five, or maybe more lol

We then decided to head off to the city to play a 10.30 game at the "Hoods Bar". Wouldn't bother going there again. The bar service was the WORST, the area was very dodgy but the players were ok.

Harps was out first of us(about 18th), then Giz (13th I think) and Sin (around 11th). Dave took the prize. With my encouragement and massaging his back his Queens were great. I keep telling him that those bitches are little darlings. He won well with QQ, AQ and won final table with Q7. He will have to change his attitute to Q's now - or maybe it was just that I love the little bitches and they do well for me and I was his lucky charm with them.

Any way, well done Dave.

Got back to Phil's around 3.30 am. Sat out the back and had a few drinks and I went to bed around 4.30 a..m. Left them to it.

I woke up at 9.30am to find that Harps had fell asleep (passed out) on the couch outside and was near cooked in the heat.

Well we are getting ready to head off Pete & Ms K's soon for a wow of a night for New Years Eve. Taking my 1 litre bottle of baileys and some ouzo. yummy yummy Harps will take his usual VB as well as a bottle of red to drink with Pete.

I am sorry Joe - when I was writing I remembered you but you weren't there at dinner so I was going to write you in later. Blonde moment and forgot. You will have to come on time in future but I suppose the idea was the big entrance on your own. Just a showman at heart. It was great to see you again mate.

Ok Jamie too, but I don't know everyone's names and didn't want to miss anyone, soz guys.

Well guys we had a great New Year at Masi's house with some great people. By the way we are still there.

We played a couple of cash games with Pete Masi being the first one to go out (pass out). I have pictures to prove it lol. He painted the bedroom walls and carpet with red splatters - trying to do a pro hart lol. Good effort.

Carmen was her usual charmng self and kept us all entertained.

Kris won the first game, Pete Masi won the second game and Sam won the third.

We finished up at 4.30 am and no hangovers reported this morning.

Wel, we are now getting read to start over again. Drinks are on ice and I'm ready to have my first drink for the day. Guys have already started.

We look forward to catching up with you SA people tomorrow at Pooraka.
