Re: Xmas Brag Thread ( What did you get)
I got one of the toshy's in May after my other one decided to die after two years.
Seriously the 18" monitor is probably a little too big for my liking, because of mobility issues. But it is great watching tv shows and movies and having it on the larger screen.
The HDD are mildly frustrating. With the guard feature, anytime you are watching a show and move, the picture stutters. Not fun when you have just moved the laptop off the belly and onto the bed.
Let me know how your opti drive is. I thought mine could play blu ray but i think i checked later and it just had super opti drive and doesn't play them.
Nice purchase anyway Gundog

Oh Yeah. Check the silver bracket that lines the LCD when you open and close. Lost a decent chunk when i was opening it a month or two after i had got it. Cosmetic flaw.

I am thinking of buying myself a Canon 550D DSLR. Very cool camera. In addition to taking awesome pics, it records in full HD.

Re: Xmas Brag Thread ( What did you get)
So very happy got an phone for Christmas. Don't ask me what type as the kids have taken it and I am not likely to see it again. I know it is touch screen and that is about it. Just so happy that it was not another iron like last year or another toaster like the one I got for my birthday
