Not me, Warnie. His words during the commentary.
I'm not perfect. I'm what perfect aspires to become

Warnie mentioned him early in the week in the Daily Telegraph.

He's picked shortly thereafter for the next test.

That's the way Cricket Australia works now, apparently.

I am sure the Aussie selectors all sat down after the last test and Hilditch asked the guys "So, what do we need?" to which the response was "Beer".

Yeah they pulled that joke out today on Grandstand radio - "I think the other selectors mis-read the situation when Boonie yelled accross the room for more beer."

I hope Christian gets an opportunity in one day cricket, he deserves it

Century in the shield game, following some awesome one day performances in the last fortnight - Christian is running like god at the moment :D

The Redbacks lost a One Day thriller against NSW today - Chasing 318, they fell 3 agonizing runs short. But Christian doing everything right again, scoring 85 off just 40 balls as well as picking up a wicket (albeit at a clip of 9 rpo :D).

Usman Khawaja also had a fair game, smashing 121 off 105 deliveries.

Don't have an 888PL For Sale section so I thought I'd put it here.

Predictions for the team today?

I think we'll end up with 4 quicks, and get absolutly spanked. Hoping I can head home form work on Monday to a thrilling final session, but it isn't going to happen :/ Chenzos?

i have a feeling they will pick beer and leave out siddle

i also think that this is our best chance to win a test.

i like hughes and smith in the team as they needed an injection of enthusiasm and these guys will bring that

i hope we bowl first though
