What did Harris do? 2 golden ducks, and nothing with the ball.

North to go. Katich too if injured.

Might be time for some short term pain, for long term gain. Pick a spinner, and stick by them for an extended period.

Give the batters the same timeframe as bowlers to be in form (a bowler has 2 matches, a batter has 2 series!)

i think he hit the bat a bit harder than bollinger and siddle, seemed to at least have a bit going for him.

bollinger was the most disappointing from my point of view, he was bowling mid-low 130s and didn't look dangerous at all, save for strauss making a mistake

Harris was by far our best bowler. No way we can drop him.

I think it's time to reconsider Pointing's position as captain.

i like KoK's idea for the test team. hilfenhaus and johnson in for bollinger and siddle, kajawa in for north but to open the batting, hughes in for katich, hauritz in for doherty, watson moves to 6 so he can bowl more overs

Wow, really? No way I would move Watson from opening just so he can bowl more overs, he is a much more powerful weapon as an opening batsman. Wouldn't bring Johnson back yet either, put Smith in instead (even on the Perth road).....
What?, poker without the river??, you've just made my dreams come true!!!

How many times has watson made a brilliant 50 only to fail to convert it into a big score? I think it's because he gets tired. Can't really expect your opening batsmen to do anything bit field in the slips to conserve energy but Watson has to bowl 15 overs as well. Pretty tough if you ask me
