Bob Francis has a guy on his show every now an then (5AA 8pm to midnight) who has people ring up and ask about rare collectables including money. He gives you some idea what they are worth.

if you supply me a list and photos of stock I will be able to tell you approx what everything is worth.

Unfortuantely Star wars toys, etc... not MOC (or on their card and unopened) really dont fetch a great deal.

Price guides for most trading cards are readily available. What sort of trading cards are talking about?

Collectible figures - are they still in their original packaging?

Step one is catalog everything
Make a spreadsheet detailing the items, the condition, and any notes about them (including prices you've seen). Maybe even give each item a number so you can refer to it.

Regardless of how you sell them you should do this if you're serious about it.
