This is one of my main points.
QLD have the larger number players and demographically more accessible.
The top players can play 7 times a week without leaving the same street.

• 1st Aussie Millions Opening and Feature Event (Event 1 and 19 - $1,100 and $1,650) and $1,000 cash for travel and accommodation – TOTAL = $3750
• 2nd Aussie Millions Feature Event and $750 cash for travel and accom – TOTAL = $2,400
• 3rd Aussie Millions Opening Event and $600 cash for travel and accom – TOTAL = $1,700
• 4th Aussie Millions Opening Event and $200 cash – TOTAL = $1,300
• 5th 888PL Grand Final Package and $350 cash for travel and accom – TOTAL = $850

Cheers Garth,

Any word yet on what will be the "experience" for Season 2 & Season 3 DT? We did discuss Aussie Millions last time, but haven't heard anything on it yet...

Previously it was top 3 from the GF, winner of each Semi Final and Top 5 from the Dream team. Already each state is ensured a representative via the Semi Final winner.

I will go through this thread thoroughly later tongiht.

So we should punish players that play in a region and at venues that HEAVILY support 888PL? And they in turn (the players) heavily support the venues and 888PL. I don't think so.

Demographically more accessible? I am not sure what you mean by that but the geographically most accessible area is Adelaide, there is always at least two games within a 20 minute drive for Adelaide players. Players in Werribee have access to two venues that operate, between them, 5 double headers between them.

In short there are plenty of regions and areas where players have access to 10+ games per week. If the contention is that a bunch of venues draw a huge crowd each and every time then I am happy for them, and I won't do anything to harm these venues, or players, based on a "perceived" imbalance in the competition.

These guys had access to these game, bonus for them, but the calculations and the score board system is the fairest it has ever been. It is now about increasing player numbers at key events in other markets, and that doesn't entirely rest with 888PL. There are plenty of venues that fully support 888PL and the poker product and have players/regular customers themselves support their games and are ambassadors for these venues.

At this stage the Dream Team is only a goal for a very small minority of our player base and I am focused on making a few more changes to the 888PL with a "grand scheme" view. No changes or alteration will be made to the DT scoreboard mechanics or processes AT THIS TIME.

Further to that, those of you chasing an answer on DT experience, I am just awaiting budget confirmation from 888 and proposed mechanics and we will progress. If successful I can tell you that not all DT members will get to partake in the experiences and yes it will have an Aussie Millions theme.

Absolutely not, it's fantastic that these guys can support 888pl so well. I applaud all of them for their support to 888pl and for their achievements in the season.

It would be fantastic if the same could happen here in Adelaide but obviously it's not the case.

Maybe the DT scoreboard system is the fairest it's ever been but is it as fair as it possibly can be?

I dare say it would be a goal for more people if it were a more even playing field.

Why would you be striving to achieve something that not all the DT members can partake in?

A bit confusing to me sorry.

G'day Garth & all 888pl Management ,

2 games in 1 night no chance of making points in both / 10 points to play freeroll & go out then play a cash game & maybe make points or just get your 10 for registering .
As it has been for a long time almost 2years now "longer than any other area ( us being the guinea pigs of the league )Werribee
Hoppers club / sunday 2 cash games , Monday 1 freeroll & 1 cash game , Tuesday the same
Tigers club 2 cash games , Thursday 1 freeroll & 1 cash game , Saturday 1 cash game
Laverton sunday 1 cash game .

We Had a lot more runners when all our nights were freerolls . H/C Sunday average 100+ ( up to 130) players , monday 70 , tue 80+
tigers thurs 110+( up to 140) runners & wed about 80+ . Check runners if you like .
Now Wed you get around 100 but only cash games for that night .
& our start time was 7:30p not 7:00 @ the H/C . To early for some.

Every other night has dropped off because of 1 REASON , That being , People playing stupid because they want to play the cash game . I have said this since the start . The cash game should start 1st the freeroll 2nd .
I know this has put a lot of regulars off & is still deterring more players from coming back .

How about 888pl start using QLD as new testing grounds
Why was it almost everything started @ my 2 clubs & no where else ?
Why do we play ANTES & have so for over a year & no where else does ?
Make every venue go through what we do @ the same time .

WE NO LONGER WANT TO BE THE TESTING GROUND FOR THINGS ( that may or may-not happen anywhere else )

Regards
[_]) cheers

666harp666 please refer to 1st page of this thread and you clearly stating nothing should be changed.

Garth I know you need to look at the bigger picture, but players play the bigger venues to finish higher in the dream team.
Why struggle to make the points at a venue with 100+ players , if you get the same reward playing at a venue with 30 players.

Finish in the top 5 and make the state finals!

Is no reward for finishing high in the state so why play mulitple venues?

There is no easy answer. From my perspective online is the only fair solution as everyone can compete in the same venue (so to speak), but that wouldn't be fair to live venues

The online is the only way to make up points, but you need to have a game where you have over 100 players and still paying x5 muliplier.
If this could happen then may well balance out.
