The Woolshed on Hindley (street) hosts poker late on wednesday nights with rego at 10:30 and start time at 11:30 (but get there before 11:30 you slackers!). This starting time makes it an ideal venue for those that are fuming from a bad beat or some other kind of donkey sufferance to go and have another game and see if things don't just improve somewhat.
Typical numbers are around the 30+ mark which gives good odds of making final table, which is all the more important when vying for those coveted satellite seats.
They have listed drinks specials for the poker so you can see at a glance what is the best value for your money. Dark n Stormys are $5 for 2 stamps (but taste horrible!) and the other popular one is that girly vodka double black thingy for $7.50 and 3 stamps. Straws are mandatory
