i have been reading a little bit on 2p2 about a game that is pot limit crazy pineapple hilo, where people only discard on the river.

Keeping the poker players in Casino's for decades before Stud then Holdem became as popular as thay have (and yes now Omaha)... IIRC it was '91 when a very large Stud tournament was held here in Adelaide, the 1st in Australia of its kind, and the poker dealers had to learn Stud especially for this tournament! (and most hadnt even heard of Hold'em really) - Kinda cool watching Amarillo Slim walkin thru the place, although intimidating as hell when I walked off a break to the next table and he was sitting at it!

In the 80's and 90s, thats all you could play at the Adelaide Cas unless you wanted to stoop to Carib Stud! Now THATS scrapin the bottom of the barrel!
