Your argument is invalid.

You're invalid!

(Stolen from another thread).. but this I am guilty of..
Player: Lets see the flop...
Me: Your a flop...

and the another comment I have issue with are...
"I am going to show you respect and fold this"
(No.. your folding because you don't think your strong enough.)

Terms I believe belong in poker..
Gappy straight - when your missing one of inner cards..
Mini straight - when you only have 4 in a row
Large straight - when you have more than 5 cards to make a straight (I believe if you can make a 7 card straight, you should over anything.. except maybe a royal flush)
Mini flush - only 3 or 4 cards to make a mini flush..

Umm, no Caz, you fold because you respect the player enough to know they are playing good cards. So yes, you know you are beat, but only because you respect their game enough to know you are beat.....

This one made me lol coz it is impossible to make a 7 card hand in poker, the game is made up of 5 cards only!!!!.....
What?, poker without the river??, you've just made my dreams come true!!!

Yeah nahh.. you got me there.. :) I agree, but I did mean it more as in terms of those that you know are not such awesome players.
We have players out our way that use that expression as a way to puff up the chest of others to use it to their advantage.

LMAO... wrong wrong wrong...
5 cards on the table plus the 2 in your hand
Thus why it should outplay ALL other hands...

My most hated term is "I had a feeling".

No I have to agree with Cazz here.

It drives me insane when a player you have never played against before, keeps calling you the whole way down, chasing his flush, straight, what ever only to lay it down on the river for not making it and then saying "respect".
No, you didn't make our hand, your Q3 off was crap the whole time and you finally worked out you should give it up.

I know when someone lays down a hand out of "respect", because it's generally someone I play with regularly, and they have a good hand, but just know I have them beat. They will generally fold and give me a nod. That's respect.

It's also knowledgeable play.

Poker is a game of information, soon as you say you knew I had the ace or the what ever and you call, you are an idiot.

In agreeance with previous posts my most hated phrase on the table is:

"I wanna go home, Im all in"

If you don't want to play, don't bother rocking up and ruining the rest of the fun for everyone else. If you really want to go, leave your chip stack and retire from the table. How many time have I seen this "I wanna go home" person make it to final table and/or win.
