i think that the state finals should stay as a single day event, purely because of the country folk coming down for the day. if accomodation needs to be found etc, then it gets a bit expensive.
more thinking of riverland/south east people - barossa is not that far
but i reckon it would be excellent as an extra game, similar to what the teams event was.
start off with 10K or 20K in chips, blinds 25-50, half an hour levels, ante up on the second day to speed it up a bit - this would really sort the men from the boys so to speak.
