dont you dare mention that name and internet in the same sentence ever again.

they singlehandedly the worst ISP in the history of the internet.

you know their "unlimited" plans out there at the moment?

yeah, they get shaped after 15 gig. and that includes uploads.

If you are using the internet dongle like once a month, then you aren't getting anywhere near the 15 gig.....

I'd never use Dodo for regular use.

Yeah if i wanted to play poker from the Kimberlies Id get Teslstra...

I just joined Vodafone this month, and NO CONTRACT, $49 upfront for the modem, and $49 a month for 11G (they have special atm where u get some extra quota for the life of your service) - They do have a $15 1.5G plan, which get you 2.5G under this current special. Most other providers for that price will be lucky to get more than 500 Mb or something ridiculous...

Best valua mobile BB around.
And service (data) is better than 3 or Optus to. They used to drop speed during peaks times (like evenings), Vodafone doesnt and is actually a bit faster than they were off peak times to.

Only prob with them is the customer service phone line shuts down at 8pm....

Seriously, I have had 3 different providers now, and used Telstra a couple of times on a mates computer.... I wouldnt personally even consider anyone else.
(and I didnt change just to get out of the bill)

imho locking into a contract with something like this is crazy. In 6 months they will have different data plans, which not being under contract i am free to take advantage of....

I have been using Voda for over 2 years now, I have use no issues or problems.

Telstra good coverage crap pricing
3 good metro coverage excellent pricing, country coverage with telstra gsm expensive.
Voda good coverage good plans
Optus good coverage good plans
Virgin and dodo both use optus network great plan choices cheap.

Coverage and data speeds to very different things...
There were places around where I live where I could barely get 300Kbps with 3 (unless it was 2am), and thats within 1Km of a tower!

And I now get 4 more Gig a month on Voda than I did with my prev 3 service, for exactly the same cost... and havent seen a download under 1.2Mbps yet, at any time of day...
