$10 Deepstack, QQ UTG, facing huge raise from the blinds.

Postby maccatak11 » Mon Aug 16, 2010 9:44 pm

3rd hand of the Feature event. no reads on villain.

Effective stacks 10k, blinds 10/20.

Macca, UTG [qc][qh] raises to 70
6 folds
Villain, BB, reraises to 1360.

Macca?

Double fist pump all-in, villan rolls 2s, and then he flops quads on you.

Ezy game.

Its never Ace Queen there, that's way too wide.

JJ/AK+ IMO.

absolutely, but even stretching that a little wider, its still a fold. Unless he meant to write 136? lol

due to this being the feature event and the fields being so soft i am playing this hand against the mathmatical norm.

Im flatting pre here and set mining the flop, its kinda a implied odds thing, where i belive if i hit i can get this bloke to stack off against me.

If i dont hit im folding to any reasonable bet, but too often in this event i see min bets on the flop, so there is a chance i will see further streets fairly cheap.

I am well aware of how bad this type of line is, but i also belive that in this standard of game ( which is relatively poor ) the 100% poker correct lines arent always going to get you max value.

Plus on the internet im a d-gen gambler, and never play properly.
Does anyone know how to make money playing uno vs 6 year olds, its about the only card game i get to play these days.

Is he/she really betting this amount with AA KK AK?

Seems like a mistake in betting that you should be taking advantage of in the biggest way possible - ALL IN!

If you lose think of it as $10 infromation and make the appropriate notes on villan for next time you meet (if this was a designed raise and not a mistake - they will no doubt make a habit of it).

It just seems too bizarre.

Getting busted out of the tourney for information when you are 300bb deep? Seems like a huge waste of a buyin
