You know... if I just called your 27k bet on the turn.... and then we got it in on the river it wouldn't hav elooked nearly as sick ;)

I'm pretty sure if u flat called, the river bet would have been different, I was pretty sure I was in front when u went all in because u went all in, a call in that pot would have scared me

I still think all the money would've gone in on the river!!

there was a comment that three of thetop ten played the same venue?? South West region ???

Thats me, what an exhausting day it was.

The 3 people from the same pub were myself, Ruth Sharpe and Brad Downing. We didn't all qualify from the same pub but do all play together about once a week in the SW region

I love Dakota .....

After a good start , it was rather dull most of the day , hovering around 15k stack until later in the day when i got quads , and a couple of boats that built it up to the 40k mark ..

I busted out around 5:30pm (just after the break), the blinds were 1k/2k ...

I raised to 6k , Gundog re-raised to 12k , i had 22k behind me so i pushed all-in with my A K clubs , he called , and rolls 6 6 ...
Flop was 7 A 5 , woohoo i thought , until the turn produced a 6 , 7 on the river boated him up and my semi's sank ! !

Another lesson learnt ... perhaps if i just flat called the 12 pre , then pushed on the flop i might have lasted a tad longer .... (i don't think Gundog would have called my push on that flop)
Anyway looking forward to running deep at the end of August ;)

Job well done by the 888PL staff , awesome structure ...
Only let down which has already been mentioned was the lack of catering for the crowd ... Vili's Cafe FTW !! ;)
When choosing between the 2 evils , I like to choose the 1 i haven't tried yet !

Chips are like burley , ya need to spread a little around to attract the fishies ...

dont worry about the actual result of the hand, shoving pre with AK is completely fine here, you just got unlucky

thats probably my fault

waikerie players have a bit of a reverance for 66 pre flop

they all love playing to hit the beast
Does anyone know how to make money playing uno vs 6 year olds, its about the only card game i get to play these days.

I busted out in the low 50's.

I committed my last 28k in 6th hand after the dinner break with [as] [9s] against Jamo who had [kc] [js], the flop had me still in front, both of us hit nothing the Turn was a King that left me stranded wanting an Ace on the River, but it didnt show up I'm gone.

Awesome day not long after I KO sinister I got moved again and the poker gods shat on me, I was baiscally card dead watching chips slowly dissappear and there was nothing I could do about.

Why does every one hate Dakota's dealing so much

Personally i love it, he gave me quads heads up to help me win the Challenge semi back in January.

He will always have a special place in my heart ;)

I HATE Dakota's dealing......

(Even if it was Alex that dealt the quads!!! ;) )

i wont dissagree with you but i destinctly remember dakota's face at the table when i rolled the queens , he was definatley sitting at the table, must have just been watching .
