feed back on the SA semi's

Postby smittdoggy » Mon Aug 02, 2010 12:20 pm

Hi all, Just thought i would give a little bit of feed back about the semi's. ONce again it needs to be said Thank you and congrats to Garth, Tim ,Matty and all the 888pl crew for running a awsome day as always.Communication was awesome rules were upheld and anyone out of order was quickly corrected and the day went SMOOTH. Just one thing to mention for thought next time WAFC host another semi with a large field is that, In the morning when there was tables set up in the pub area for the large field there was massive over crowding arounf the bar and NO where to sit at all for the hour wait, so there was alot of people standing outside in the cold or just pushing each other around to get to where they needed to be. I understand this is a small problem but just thought it could be looked at to make what is already a great and fun day more enjoyable and comfortable for everyone..
and well done to matt kelly from the south and ruth for final tables thought i was going to be there with you but no luck busting out around 45 AQ not holding against K9...and the gooch was glad to sit with you near the end you are fun to play with and we are building some history and its always a pleasure, you make everyone rethink what they thought was right. your a fanastic player and deserve what ever comes your way.And dave sitting with you must say thought you was going to make final table with that stack .. from what i saw with my small stack LOL! you was in the zone and i am sure there is much more success coming your way..
well enough with this novel or dribble...well done all

Haha. Thanks smittdoggy.
I was just having a coffee and sitting down thinking that I wished I could've made the final table.

I didn't realise you were on my table, were you on the other side of Dakota to me?

the guy on your left took me out wearing a hat blonde hair .. looked like a farmer no offence if he reads this lOL .. but yeah was a great day just disapointed to not win a race when your ahead to get yourself going. but yeah well played Dave you was in the zone and played some good big stack poker.pity about the result for you but hey its all learning and you will only get better ...at least that what i tell myself except going from 3rd to 45 is backwards hmmmm might have to rethink what i tell myself LOL ... have a good one mate and best of luck in the future

I didn't like the hour dinner break, whoever came up with that idea needs a stern talking to :D

Too long IMO.

maybe 40 minutes in future?

you need to have a decent time though so you can get something to eat.

in general i loved the structure - thought it was definitely the best one yet. not sure if it went longer than expected, if it did, maybe the antes could come in slightly earlier, i think that would cut down on the tourney length a bit
