I noticed that there is a charity event held on the Friday, does this mean there is no welcome party? Is that event the welcome party or is there something else?

The welcome party will be the charity event, a fee is applied this time to make sure everyone takes it seriously and plus we are raising funds for variety. So $30 or $25 entry get you;
Free beer, wine, softdrink, finger food and $2,000 charity dollars on entry.
DJ entertainment, promo girls and some other goodies.
