CELEBRITIES @ NPL GAMES

Postby Todd Rivers » Fri Mar 14, 2008 1:02 am

Has anyone had a celeb/sporting celeb play at their venue?

Who were they and did they do any good?

Had an ex AFL player at Warragul. Was reasonable think he only made the points a few times.

Adrian Hickmott. Me being me, didn't realise who he was until one of the other players said, was that Adrian Hickmott?

Yes, from Geelong, and a bloodnut if i remember correctly.
We had Peter Walsh (ex Melbourne/Port Power) at Renmark and funnily enuff, another bloodnut. Is bloodnut politically correct? :?
He did OK on the tables.

I prefer the term Ranga.

There's a former State cricketer in the NPL ranks.

Des Beaty plays the Palais most weeks, and sometimes other venues.
