Now that would just be cruel benny the cunt. And I would be stuck with my very own Phil Helmuth for a week which would be a nightmare. As I said I think his confidence is one of his strong points and is why he used to be such a good live player. I have never seen him sit at a table and think my god I am screwed here. No matter how far he is outside his element he always sits down with the attitude I could beat everyone at this table I dont give a **** who they think they are. When his play was stronger this was great but now it is a bit manic well..... It also never hurts to show respect to players who you know are good as usually they have achieved so much that they deserve to be respected. You also dont want to get on there bad side as usually they can crush you without much effort. I like to sit back and watch them so I can hopefully learn something (loved watching Garth and Paul at the weekend as I know they both have awesome game).

I will tell you a story about my husband. Back when he was playing at his best we went to crown. At this stage his play was what I would consider to be the good side of average. They announced that they were pleased to have a full tilt pro in venue. He stood up, said thank you and then sat back down again. 2 players actually swore and 1 said I knew he was a pro and left. I just shook my head and thought to myself you morons he is an amatuer from Bendigo. There reaction was not based on his play but solely on his attitude at the table.

The weekend was great, i loved every minute of it .. The highrollers was a great event and i had a ball with the teams event to !! I would like to see the Highrollers start Earlier and longer blinds or quicker at the beginning and slow up towards the end (cannonball style)
Madali our first tabl was insane the first 20 hands was as much action as i have ever seen on a table and the pot sizes so early on were nuts BUT the hands that were getting dealt it was so hard for it not to be !!
As for your game, you played a great game just got unlucky cause of the awkward insane blinds but apart from that, i didnt notice you play anything wrong even those aces you were holding when you flopped that book was played perfect !!!
I got very lucky in that KK v 22 10,4 i played it wrong and got so lucky but I cant say sorry the hands we had to work out on that table was shocking and I think it was the only one i got wrong but got my "one time"

I cant wait for the next finals and im looking forward to the Grand final in particular !!

These Final weekends are i believe what excels us further and further ahead in the poker industry and cant see any other company getting within a radius of us !!!
Its full credit due to Guys like Garth and Michael (Victoria speaking) that makes this company so DAMN AWESOME !!!!!

Thanks so much for that Paul it really means a lot that a player of your ability thought I played ok. I am super critical of my game and really have been playing bad of late. I have had the flu for over 2 months and that hasn't helped. I knew I was ahead when the nice young guy bluffed me and I have no idea why I folded. Apart from that I was so fortunate to play on a table full of really good players on Saturday and really had a blast. I love sitting on tables with players that I know will push me as I know that it will help me grow as a player. 888pl is so fortunate to have so many talented poker people as staff and I think this is why it is the best pub poker league in Australia
( IMO). A good leader always surrounds themselves with good people and thats what makes the team great. Keep up the good work 888pl!

It was a scary board and the river didnt make it less scary, you are bettr regretting the fold you made than the call that busts you !!

Funnily enough that whole table was a very pushy table it was like a bunch of pitbulls from the start to the end, and i cant believe with the hands dealt, that the original table lasted so long.

Some of the staff looked like they were about to fall over at one stage! Just goes to show how hard working they are. Was a really great event as usual and the Vic TDs got a chance to practice before the GF. Well done guys.
