S2 SA Semi Finals - FULL HOME & AWAY QUALIFIERS LIST

Some people have misunderstood the qualification criteria .

Some went by this LINK

Qualification:
Finish on the top 5 on the scoreboard at the end of the season from each event held (Home and Away) or the top 50 on the state scoreboard to win a seat into the SA Semi Finals.
Some venues may have two events running, Monday and Wednesday for example. In this instance both the top 5 from Monday night and the top 5 from Wednesday night will qualify into the Semi Final.

But if you search the forums you will find you need to play 10 away to qualify !

To clarify:

To qualify for ANY of the finals (Semi or Grand), a player must participate in 10 AWAY games to qualify.

There is no condition relating to amount of home games qualified for.

This is a condition of all entries into the finals where we give away the predominant amount of funds/prizes.

I hope that brings a bit of clarity to this issue.

I didnt not play 10 away games but I was only told in the last 3 weeks I had to. As I was not aware of forum until I got an email 2day from Tim I didnot know about it. I was told by a player with 3 weeks to go and we only have 1 game up here that I can get to anyway. I was told it was I had to get placed top 5 of any game and I was in.

On a Technical note the link doesnt mention having to play 10 away games to qualify. Since that is the main page for 888pl it might be an idea to give the online qualifiers a seat in the semi's and correct the error for the current season.

i really don't see what the problem here is, 888PL has always been a venue based operation with the online component to compliment what is done at pubs and clubs

you only need to play a 1 venue all season and you've qualified

it would really suck if some unknown shipped the grand final or semi final after playing no games other than a few online.

These players in question may have played the remaining games in other 'home' games as it only shows how many games they played in that particular 'home' game to qualify.

And everyone else above them on the scoreboard did not play 10 away games during the season.
