That's what I needed to know when you were harassing me in the MQF on the weekend....

I think a lot of people over value some of these stats, I don't think there is a target VPIP or a 3 bet % one should aim for, but they can be used as indicators.

Does anybody else think that bb/100 or ROI is a pretty important stat? And it is probably the only stat that can be used for bragging.... Most of the VPIP / PFR / 3 bet stats are gonna be situational and need to change in order to be profitable at different tables. I've had sessions where I win 5 buy ins at 6 max nl playing 12/6/0 and at 50/5/1, way off my 25/18/5 average . Point is it depends on who you are playing and the only true indicator of how good one is bb/100 or ROI over a large sample.....

Stats are like e-peens. :-)

But bb/100 over a large sample tells if you are a winner or loser longterm. And if you haven't had a downswing, the brag post followed by the beat post is always fun too.

Think i need to put HEM on my laptop for when i am playing, need to polish my cash game skills, at the moment i am coal. happy if i can get it to graphite and excited if i can get it to quartz or diamond. :-)

i was probably 3betting you more like 25% of the time though :D

cant remember how many hands i have on you, but i was looking at your stats, and they are obviously great.

and i probably should keep this to myself :D, but the thing i noticed was that your button stats were WAAAY looser than your cutoff stats. there was a huge jump.

so if you opened from the cutoff, i was putting you on a comparatively narrow range, but when you were on the button and i was in the small blind, i pretty much 3bet every one of your opens.

i think the point with these stats are, is that they can point out some huge leaks very quickly. there may be other leaks that these basic stats dont show, but other ones will pick them up.

for example, my biggest leak is paying off when people raise me on the river - for some reason i just can't lay down that set or overpair that i have fired 3 barrels with.

this doens't show up in any of the above stats, but if you go look at my won at showdown stats, my river call efficiency, they are lower than they should be, and how much i win when i get raised on the river, they are nowhere near where they should be.

That was a lot of fun with you on my left all night. Again another example of how one must adjust depending on the players at the table. Whatever stats I did display for that tourney are going be a heap different to most 888pl tournies I've played, because I had a player on my left that wouldn't let me get away with my usual methods of stealing blinds and playing lots of pots from position.

Nah, benny the cunt busted with 2 tables left and I hit the FT with 11 or 12 BB, couldn't get the double...out in 9th. Not sure who won.

it was great fun

and the problem was, i knew that you knew that i was raising you light. so then i second guessed myself with that hand when i had AK to your TJ and you hit your J on the river.

if i had bet you off that hand before the river, i would have been chip leader i think, and i reckon i would have final tabled.

good times.

yes, but wait a few thousand hands before you worry about your stats.

as mike said, it is easy to go hundreds or hands below or above your average, depending on your cards, table dynamics etc etc.

edit: what benny the cunt said

I do think your 3 bet is a little high tho, but for 888, PERFECT! :D
