i haven't seen any of them, but this looks alright.

Is it worth a watch from the start?

Yeah, they're definitely entertaining movies, even if you don't find the Harry Potter universe all that fun. Some say they're even better than the books.

You missed Emma Watson growing up. Growing up fine.
Definitely worth a watch from the start. :-)

I used to hate Harry Potter and all the fandom surrounding it.

Then came Twilight.

All of a sudden, Mr Potter and co., not so bad.

Saw Eclipse last night in gold class.

Great movie for those vampire/werewolf fans. Great scene when the Cullen family fight to kill a clan of newborns. It is obvious the producers had a bit more money to spend on special effects this time round ;)

Team Jacob FTW!

Good film. Like kickass missed a lot of the finer details that came through on the comic side of it.
Overall very watchable. I enjoyed it.

Got prince of persia to watch tonight. That should be interesting.

I liked it! Didn't even feel like a comic book movie, just a fun action flick.

Spoiler:
I didn't like Roque double crossing the team near the end, didn't feel like it fit into the movie very well. I guess in the comic it would've been a bit more fleshed out, but it just came out of left field here and didn't seem to make much sense. I also think each character could've been given a bit more screen time, I liked Chris Evan's jokes but he was given too much time IMO. I loved how open the ending was left, re Max escaping. I would definitely like to see everyone back for a sequel, here's hoping the film does well enough to get one going.

Zoe Saldana is hot.

edit: "Acquiring" Saint John of Las Vegas now, if only for Mr Pink.
