I want to start generating some Hand Discussion!

Then we could also create an index of hand discussions by starting hand. Maybe a sticky with headings like AK, AQ, AJ, 22-88, 88-JJ, QQ-AA, Suited Connectors etc.

Also if we could come up with a hand discussion template for all posts, for example:

Title: Hand - Board - Situation
AQ - draw Heavy board - early stages facing river bet

Then a checklist for hand history. Such as reads, stats if available, history, image etc.

Is there an easy way to copy actions of the hand on 888 (such as on stars where it is all detailed neatly)?

I hit a few hands of interest but am unsure how to post them with (relative) ease.

I think the only way is to go through the text based versions of saved hand histories. It too annoys me that you cant cycle back more than one hand on the hand replayer, and that you cant get text based HH from the replayer either.

Yep the improvements have been good, but retrieving hand histories is still average at best.

get them from holdem manager if you have it

Or you can also just open the HH file in notepad after the hand, and it will be right ot (or possibly near) the bottom. As long as you dont use a text editor that auto reloads changed files, you can just leave it there until you are ready to post....

I posted 2 entire HU SnGs to try and generate some hand discussions, just the next 2 I played after thinking about it, so not neccessarily the best examples, so I would def be interested in doing this. Especially if discussion remains constructive and doesn't degenerate into bickering...

I can find my old hands (and 'watch' them again) but how do i get the 'text' file?

If you have the latest version:

Settings -> game settings -> make sure you have ticked the option to save hand histories to the folder of your choice.
