XTAL's 52

Postby rcon » Fri Mar 28, 2008 7:42 pm

about 19 runners left at the Royal last night, I've got 10K and I'm UTG.

I get dealt AJ off, we're 6 handed so I put a 2x BB raise in (raise to 4k).

Everyone else fold, 'cept Xtal who is SB.

Being Xtal, she goes all in for about 8k. BB folds.

I'm rather pot committed at this point so I call.

Xtal rolls over 5d2d.

Damn, I HATE it when Xtal has these sorts of cards :-)

flop misses us both, but turn shows a 2.

Nothing for me on the river.

Not a particularly bad beat, but damn, losing to 52suited REALLY hurts. my last 2k didn't really get me anywhere special with BB next hand either.

Esp when its Xtal :-)

funny it was Xtal, funny it was :-)

You're comment as the hand played out tho, that you "knew you had the best hand, thats why you played it", was just priceless!
