Grand Final weekend was a mixed bag of results for me personally. The overall experience was great. Was not impressed by breaks though.

Congrats to all the winners and grinners and special mention to fellow Tasmanian Steve (George / Flash ) Gordon from New Norfolk . Finshed main event 6th or 7th for a nice collect of $8k plus.
My results:-
Event 1 - Friday night, ran into trouble early, shoved later on with suited ace and walked into pockets which held (Gone after 2 hours).
Main event - Knocked out last hand before 2nd break with low stack on AJ v some random pair that weren't memorable.
Event 3 - Sat arvo 888PL Teams event. Teamed with Richard Golding from Hobart. Made final table for 8th I think and cash of about $240 .

Event 4 - Sunday, JHDS . Came from deperate position of nearly blinded out at 4k level to getting sucked out on badly in consecutive hands at the 8 hour mark of the event to spill $330k in chips. Finished 13th for $375. Unbelievable rollercoaster in this one.

PS// Also backed Shocking in Australian Cup, an interesting weekend.Lots of ways of spreading the funds around.

Yeah, I did read what happened but....

old man Swanky and I were playing a table at a Semi Final several seasons ago and I watched as his KK was rivered & crushed by 8,6 "but they were suited !"
