Re: Blind levels & antes
depends on how long you want the tourney to go for, and how many people you have coming and what you want the start stack to be.
my tourneys at home usually have a 10k start stack and blind levels for about 25 minutes, for around 20 minutes.
that usually goes for around 7 hours including breaks for pizza etc.

Re: Blind levels & antes
this is similar to the last tournament i ran at my house. i think i might have used 25 min levels the whole way through though last time, but obviously you can tweak this slightly. as you can see the run time is 6 hours 10 mins, which you wouldnn't get to without at least 20 people playing. most likely the 2k/4k or 3k/6k
note that i have a 1000pc chip set so it is easy to give everyone a lot of chips, but if you have less than you might want to change it a bit.
Number of Runners: approx 20
Chips:
8x25
8X100
4x500
2x1000
1x5000
(extra 1000s and 5000s needed for colour up)
sample blinds - note that you can change these however you want. obviously increasing the level times or adding some levels in increases the length, as does removing antes. if you want a shorter tourney change the level times or remove some
