Ok boys and girls, here is a run down of what the Christies is offering this season.

Tuesdays:
Game 1: 6:30pm registration 7:30pm start

Game 2: 8:30pm registration 9:30pm start

Saturdays:
Game 1: 7:00pm registration 8:00pm start

Game 2: 9:00pm registration 10:00pm start

That's right. We are now playing 2 games per night. Here's how it works:

Game 1: 3K start stack, 1 passport worth 3K. Standard blinds. No bad beats, no redraws.

Game 2: 2K start stack, 1 passport worth 2K. Accelerated blinds. No bad beats, no re-draws.

Game 2 is open to all not still playing in Game 1, including those who didn't play Game 1 at all. Late registration until 1st break (25 mins). The 2nd game is also designed that nights do not last much longer, last Tuesday lasted only 25 mins longer than usual.

Now to the good stuff.

Christies Beach has always been giving away the most cash prizes south of the city, now it's getting even bigger.

Game 1 of each night: $150 cash for 1st, $75 for 2nd.
Game 2 of each night is for prizes only.

Game 1 of each will also have a HOTSEAT JACKPOT!
1 Seat will be selected by the venue before the game and will be opened by the TC at the completion of heads-up. If the winning player also happens to be seated in the position selected by the venue, they will win the jackpot as well as the $150 in cash!

The jackpot starts at $50, increasing by $50 per eligible game ($50 on tuesday, $50 on saturday etc.) and is capped at $500.

So far, after week 1, the jackpot has not gone off.

That means this Tuesday, the jackpot will stand at $150.

As you can imagine this jackpot will increase very quickly so get down to the Christies and give it a go.

Congratulations to Carly Holland who picked up a cool $200 on top of the $150 first prize on Saturday night. She beat a field of 60 runners to win the jackpot.

So now we have reset guys.

Tuesday's field couldn't get a repeat, so Saturday's jackpot will stand at $100.
