Windows music folders / itunes

Postby Swanky » Tue Jan 19, 2010 11:18 am

Wondering if anyone can help with this one. Since I have no net at work I've been cleaning up my music files. And trying to work a few things out. I have discovered if you change Any album art to folder.jpg it will add the cover to tourusic folder if Windows hasn't already done that for you. What I want to know is how to add that art to each song. Some albums already have that set up some don't. Also now that 99% of my flders have art why us it when I send them to iTunes only a couple of albums have art on my iPod? Questions:
1: how do I get the art on each song in windows.
2: how do I get that same info onto iTunes.
( and yes I have clicked on the get album art button on iTunes)
I just want it all to confirm to how I set it up. Thanks for the help gents (and ladies).

in windows media player, if you right click on the album and then click update album info, it will get a pic for you.

Cheers benny the cunt. Already knew that one. But A: no Internet here at work to do that and B: not all music has come from a CD wink wink nudge nudge. Which is half the reason I have been doingy tidy up as the way some people label their music is ridiculous. Seriously, is it that hard to put song title artist album? Any way I have most of the cover art there has to be some way of doing this.

no internet - your prolly screwed.

as far as not coming from a cd, as long as its in an album, then you can get the info from it. i.e downloaded albums still work like that.

Most of those already have the art which is good. Some have it attached to each song as well as the folder. So there must be a way to do it. Got me beat.

Think in itunes you can drag and drop into the folder in the bottom right corner. How i got varsity blues in there.

Downside is i think you have to do it individually for each song - possibly.
