need some computer help

Hi gang hope evryone had a great Christmas. Trying to get some info of a gift I got. I bought it for myself so it's kinda my fault :) I bought a PCMCIA TV card for my laptop turns out the vacant spot I hVe for it only garages my remote doesn't actually use PCMCIA. What I'm wondering is can I get a PCMCIA to USB or Firewire cable? Out bush right now so googling is a tad hard. Thanks for any help :)

Ahhh I actually want to use it myself for my video camera so thanks Des but I would prefer some kinda cable if it's possible.

Maybe next time get yourself a gift voucher? Then you can pick out a present for yourself that you can actually use. :lol:
