Post it notes.

Postby maccatak11 » Mon Jul 20, 2009 11:02 pm

Probably got the idea from somewhere, but i have taken to writing certain things down on post-it notes and sticking them to my monitor or desk to help me remember key things and keep my focus.

Does anybody else do this? What kind of phrases/sayings do you have written down?

I have:

- OOP is POO!!
- position position position
- FOLD and move on
- What hands am i beating?
- When in doubt, get to showdown.

I usually have a pillow near the computer to scream into when I get sucked out on.

Yeah, I use post-it notes Macca.

To cover up the cracks in my window from flying keyboards.

I do all of this, and our notes are pretty similar Macca.

I need to learn where the fold button is.

anyone ever played a game with a post-it-note covering your own cards?? Read about it somewhere (possibly on here) so tried it in a play money game.

Was first out

Not post-it notes, but A4 sheets blu-tacked to the wall behind my monitor, with everything written large in permanent marker.
Yes, I have played 1/2c with my cards covered, as well as live at a mates place (this got some odd reactions) never turning my cards over or looking unless/until I had to... I did it when I read (and cant remember where, but in a book) that it is a good excercise in playing positional poker... and it is! Live, it has an interesting effect to, especially when you raise lol...

Personally I dont think play$ is much good for anything except.... well nothing actually. :)
how many hands have you seen 5 way allins pre? or on the flop?
Image ...11.59% of bad beat stories are just misplayed hands ...

suposably has won tournaments like that.
Does anyone know how to make money playing uno vs 6 year olds, its about the only card game i get to play these days.
